Production Assistant, Global Broadcast (Temp)

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a Production Assistant to support assigned Supervising, Senior, and Associate Producers with the production of all or parts of assigned live or taped Call of Duty League broadcast. The Production Assistant will assist on Studio, Live Broadcast, and Remote Shoots. Providing assistance with gathering production elements such as: video clips, graphics and research support. Working closely with the production staff in the office, and on location the Production Assistant will be vital member of the team, supporting several aspects of the live and taped productions. You should be a diligent, detail-oriented self-starter who works in a team environment well.

Responsibilities:

• Support pre-production elements such as video clips, highlights, teases and features for use in live and taped events
• Prepares program fillers and other interstitial materials for live CDL broadcasts
• Provides timely, accurate and complete delivery of multimedia elements
• Collaborates with producers to find innovative ways to enhance the video storyline from a graphics and content perspective
• Maintains updated production manuals and element reels
• Works with technical and production personnel to create an informative and entertaining broadcast
• Works with on-air staff to write accurate and informative stories
• Researches and prepares story ideas for future shows
• Communicate with line and edit producers to understand what material is covered in each broadcast
• Facilitate communication and exchange of ideas with the CDL broadcast team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• A minimum of 1-2 years prior experience in live news, sports or production.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as good interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, leadership skills, and strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Explorer are needed
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under changing priorities and daily time constraints
• Flexibility to travel and work nights/weekends
