Playtika is looking for a Product Security Engineer to join us.
Responsibilities
- Lead innovative in-house security projects and tools development to secure the organization’s products built on cutting-edge technologies like Web 3.0.
- Embed security tools and procedures in the Continuous Integration & Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
- Conduct in-depth assessments of containerized environments and pipelines to continuously improve the security of the organization.
- Actively promote and improve the security culture and education within the organization. Work closely with SW architects, developers, DevOps, and IT to ensure that security is integrated into the SDLC.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security standard methodologies, trends, threats, and vulnerabilities, and technology frameworks. Use this knowledge to continuously improve the security of the organization's products and services.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps and/or software development.
- Experience working with containerized environments like Docker and K8S.
- Strong knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies, tools, and technologies (e.g., CI/CD).
- Proficient with Linux environments.
- Ability to write scripts and automated tools, preferably in Python or Bash.
- Knowledge of management tools (ex. Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, TeamCity, Terraform, Docker).
- Ability to work in a self-directed environment that is highly collaborative and cross-functional.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth understanding of industry trends, application security threats, exploits, and how to prevent them.
- Experience with industry security tools (WAF, SAST, SCA, etc.) and practices - Advantage.
- Expertise in web application security, SSDLC, and threat modeling, as a security champion, application security engineer, or security architect - Advantage.
- Experience securing infrastructure in a public cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) – Advantage.
