The Product Quality Assurance Engineer ensures the quality, integrity, and consistency of sophisticated printed cards, packaging, and game products. Collaborates consistently alongside Product Engineering, R&D, Brand/Marketing, Suppliers and Hasbro Far East offices in support of multiple and varying-complexity product lines before, during, and after production to ensure our products meet compliance objectives.
What You'll Do:
- Plan/handle product quality, safety & reliability.
- Lead/participate in various risk management and quality improvement initiatives.
- Optimize product designs and/or resolve potential quality/safety/reliability challenges.
- Establish, document, and implement quality, safety, and reliability targets and requirements for new products.
- Review/inspect product samples and prototypes.
- Review/authorize product labeling for regulatory compliance.
- Handle and audit the online repository of supplier quality records.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
What You'll Bring:
- Critical eye for detail and ability to identify quality issues based on set standards and tolerances.
- Keep abreast of emerging regulations and standards.
- Represent the quality team regarding Hasbro corporate quality policy.
- Ability to analyze and report on consumer complaint/product return data.
- Comfortable communicating with people at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, efficiently, and accurately.
- Possess basic familiarity with company products.
- Good organizational skills to update and maintain documented product quality requirements and criteria.
