Product Owner e-commerce (F/M/NB)

Job Description

The position is located in our international HQ in Saint-Mandé, within Ubisoft IT department, and more specifically into the “E-commerce” team, which builds innovative digital products for our partners and players all around the world.

The “E-commerce” is organized by fields (store, subscription, Ingame…), and composed by product owners, business analysts, developers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers and people who manage the product development.

We are looking for a Product Owner who will be able to propose, prioritize, design and implement new features for the Ubisoft Store.

You will be in direct contact with the business teams in charge of e-commerce strategy, at the heart of discussions on the future of e-commerce at Ubisoft, and you will be responsible for leading projects to create or improve the customer experience.

As such, your missions will be as follows:

• Collaborate closely with various stakeholders to participate in the discovery phases within your scope and identify the most relevant opportunities ;
• Prioritize initiatives based on the expected added value, measured through the collection of insights and the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data ;
• Maintain the roadmap of your scope and orient it according to the objectives defined with the stakeholders ;
• Participate in UX design workshops for new platform features ;
• Coordinate the tech analysis of topics with the architects and technical leads ;
• Animate the backlog on your scope: creation of user stories, refinements, sprint planning, backlog reviews, demos, retrospective, etc.
• Collaborate with the developers dedicated to your product as well as the QA in order to build your product correctly ;
• Actively participate in the transformation of the way of working; towards a product oriented organization, and the implementation of Agile practices ;
• Communicate frequently with the different stakeholders; know how to take into account the different stakeholders' issues while keeping in mind the objectives of your product.

Qualifications

• A significative first experience as product owner/manager ;
• Good knowledge of product management and agile development methods ;
• Leadership and capacity to communicate efficiently with high level stakeholders ;
• Fluent in English ;
• Knowledge of the e-commerce and video-games industry would be a plus.
