Data is central to PlayStation's decision-making process, and analysts are essential to driving data driven decisions throughout the organization. We are looking for an energized Product Owner who can fully understand and analyze both internal and external data and articulate the insight that we need to derive via user stories. As a team member embedded in an upbeat agile team, you will serve as the interface between our customers and your development team throughout the planning and software development process. You will be working in a dynamic environment within the global CX team where you will lead the way for high quality, high velocity decisions for the team in a global environment!
Product Owner Responsibilities:
- Evangelize data knowledge and insights: handle communications with your partners and other teams both locally and globally, collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues to complete data projects and ensure all parties can use the insights to further improve
- Maintain a customer-centric focus: strive to be a domain and product expert through data, develop trust among your peers and partners, and ensure that your team has access to data to make decisions
- Prioritize and execute in the face of ambiguity: work with partners and mentors to distill the problem, adapt your tools to answer complicated questions, and identify the trade-offs between speed and quality of different approaches
- Create analytical frameworks to measure team success: partner with cross-functional teams to define success metrics, create approaches to track the data and resolve errors, quantify and evaluate the data, then develop a common language for all colleagues to understand these critical metrics
- Operationalize data processes - provide the team with ad-hoc analysis, automated dashboards, and self-service reporting tools so that everyone gets a good sense of the state of the business
- Define, prioritize, drive realization of specific analytics product vision and roadmap
- Align partners on current status and ensure the backlog is prioritized, visible and clear to all
- Engages with business partners to ideate and prototype predictive analytics
- Obtains key inputs from leadership, enterprise architecture teams and identifies solution and interdependencies
- Maintain strong relationships with key partners
Products Owner Skills:
- 5+ years experience as a product owner or business analyst with a proven track record of delivering high profile, business focused solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to translate and articulate complex business problems into easily understood solutions
- Articulate in documenting product requirements, writing functional specs, acceptance criteria and user stories
- An expert in Contact Centre CRM and Online Support
- Ability to work effectively and professionally with multi-functional teams worldwide and with senior partners
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to make good, timely decisions
- Ability to multitask and context switch between low level detail and the 'bigger picture'
- Strategic problem solver with a consistent track record in leading and inspiring teams to deliver to their full potential
- Diplomatic and comfortable with finding common ground on complex issues
- Self-motivated and highly organized
- Awareness and appreciation of the principles of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
- Experience in handling partners and distilling complex requirements into analytical solutions
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and experimentation, and capacity to drive conclusions from the analysis
- Ability to work across disparate data sources to acquire sensible results
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in quantitative discipline (Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or MBA with emphasis in analytics)
- 4+ years analyzing large multi-dimensional data sets using data/statistical tools such as R, Python, SAS, SPSS and Excel.
- Experience using tools like Tableau, HighCharts, Qlikview
- Proficient knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud is highly desirable

Please note that the range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual pay will be set within this pay range based on location as well as skills and experience related to the job. The expected pay range for this role based at the office location listed in the job post is listed below.

$113,800 — $170,600 USD
