Product Owner – Subscription Experience (F/H/NB)

Job Description

The position is located in our international HQ in Saint-Mandé, with Ubisoft IT department, and specifically into the “E-commerce” team, which builds innovative digital products for our partners and players around the world.

The “E-commerce” is organized by fields (store, subscription, Ingame…), and composed by product owners, business analysts, developers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers and people who manage the product development.

We have been creating worlds for over 30 years and Ubisoft’s game library shines by its diversity and breadth. The ambition of the subscription program is to transform the way players use this universe and create tomorrow’s usages.

As a Subscription Product Owner, your mission will be to develop the best purchase experience through different channels (web, app, InGame, Cloud Gaming) and build a platform that fits the new stakes of subscription.

To take up this challenge, you will join an international team and exchange with major partners of our market.

Your main responsibilities will include the following:

• Collaborate closely with different stakeholders (business, sales, legal, tech…), to identify and prioritize their needs;
• Actively participate in workshops to design the platform’s new features;
• Analyze business needs and supply the product backlog with detailed user stories, taking into account business rules and technical impacts (performance, architecture…);
• Prioritize the backlog depending of the added value expected, thanks to quantitative and qualitative data analysis (through analytics tools, A/B test, KPIs, customer insights,…);
• Be a key actor of our agile development cycle: backlog review, sprint planning, daily, retro, demo,…;
• Actively participate on the transformation of our way of work - towards a product oriented organization and implementation of agile best practices;
• Communicate frequently with our stakeholders (progress, result, one pagers,…);

Qualifications

Background

• A significative first experience as product owner/manager
• Good knowledge of product management and agile development methods
• Leadership and capacity to communicate efficiently with high level stakeholders
• Fluent in English, some people in the team don’t speak French
• Knowledge of the e-commerce, subscription economy and video-games industry is a plus
