We believe China is leading the world in gaming, and that the next generation of game worlds will be developed by the prosperous Chinese Game Development Community. We are looking for talented individuals to join our Shanghai Office, our core hub and headquarters for APAC Operations.

Your Mission

As a Product Marketing Manager at Improbable you will play a central role in the success of our SpatialOS product and our business with games developers. You will partner with product and engineering teams to deliver our product to market and ensure the success of our business with target customers. You will partner with the broader Marketing and Sales teams to drive growth by delivering clear value propositions, positioning, and messaging for game developers. You will partner closely with Product Management, Business Development, and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

· End-to-end product marketing, including messaging & positioning in China

· Interpret the technical capabilities of our products for marketing and sales teams and translate that into selling language

· Coordinate the efforts of channel marketing partners to create a clear and measurable plan for growth with the target market segment

· Partner with and coordinate a diverse group of stakeholders to inform product roadmaps, positioning, marketing strategy, and execution

· Develop and execute innovative strategies and marketing plans that drive awareness, engagement, adoption, and customer satisfaction

· Apply your in-depth understanding of our customers to act as a voice of the customer inside of Improbable

· Report internally on the progress and health of our business with target customer segments

Competencies

· A passion and enthusiasm for games and/or the gaming industry

· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to different types of audiences (internal/external), and have a proven record of influencing and leading a variety of stakeholders

· A strong customer focus and the ability to identify different customer and market segments and various buyer personas

· Proven skills in advance research, business intelligence and statistical analysis

· Ability to understand the problems of target customers and translate them into actionable insights

· Able to work autonomously on projects and prioritise large volumes of work.

· Full professional proficiency in both Mandarin and English.

· Able to travel globally

Experience Required

· Minimum 5 years experience in product marketing with a background in B2B technology/software - must have some experience in the games space

· Experience developing value propositions, positioning, and communications for product launches.

The following competencies/experience would be advantageous:

· Working experience related with Cloud(PaaS/IaaS) product/service marketing.

· BA/BS degree with MBA
