Job Title: The Product Marketing Manager, Social & Community

Reporting To: Product Marketing Director

Department: Call of Duty Warzone: Mobile

Location: Santa Monica, CA

The Product Marketing Manager, Social & Community is a key player in the
Call of Duty Franchise’s Mobile marketing team focusing on community and social
media verticals in all things related to supporting the titles through social media
and community strategy, executions, planning, cross collaboration, and
management. This person is responsible for developing these areas and maintaining
relationships with players through the brand. This person will be a collaborative
team member of the Social & Community digital marketing team and contribute to
the brand voice on public global channels. Join the team to work on the successful
Call of Duty: Mobile live title and as we build for the newest mobile project for the
COD Franchise.

Develop and lead execution of creative and strategic programs to effectively
and efficiently support seasons and product launch campaigns and the Mobile
brand overall on each social media platform and community area
Collaborate with Go to Market, PR, Product, and a wide variety of internal and
external teams to develop detailed digital marketing plans and content
Identify Community growth opportunities to increase engagement, loyalty,
and followership
Lead and partner with regional teams to support worldwide initiatives aimed
at supporting, marketing, or communicating about Call of Duty: Mobile to a
broad audience in many markets
Manage multiple initiatives, often launching or executing concurrently, while
also working with other internal teams to provides player insights, feedback,
or data
Track and escalate social media or community related issues in an
expeditious manner to internal stakeholders; like bugs, issues with releases,
trends, or sentiment problems
Organize and align across departments to create unified marketing content
that supports monthly seasonal releases and major marketing beats
Own creative development for social media and community marketing assets,
and then successfully execute on scheduling and releasing those assets in
accordance with liveops and feature releases
Serve as a community and social strategist within the team, maintaining a
cutting edge understanding of best practices, features, strategies, trends,
and tactics
Maintain reporting, documentation, and listening for community and social
media executions, events, giveaways, and communications
Interpretation of data, creating actionable insights from that data, and
owning detailed social and community media metric reports
Present program plans, reports, analysis to internal audiences, including
executives
Oversee all creative, copy, and publishing of any public facing content and
copy
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in marketing, social media, or community
management in a professional capacity
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field
or MBA degree
Extensive knowledge of the Call of Duty franchise to help drive a unique Call
of Duty: Mobile voice that still supports the overall Call of Duty brand
Be able to distribute and share responsibilities among other teams’ member
while still taking responsibility for the overall task, project, or execution
Experience working with international teams in significantly different time
zones
Experience working with cross-discipline marketing partners
In-depth experience using Discord, Reddit, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook,
Instagram, TikTok and all major social media platforms relevant to gaming
Significant understanding of analytics, project management, video game
development, relationship management, creative processes, and problem-
solving skills
Proficiency with business-related software, including Microsoft Office,
Powerpoint, Jira, Smartsheet, Sprinklr, or social media analytics tools
Be able to handle working long and unusual hours during releases periods or
as the job demands when working with other time zones
Be able to remain calm and lead others even during critical moments or when
problems arise
Be able to respond to, explain, and be responsible for any successes or
failures of the social media/community team as a whole
Knowledge of graphic design and a strong creative vision a plus
