Your Mission
As the Product Marketing Manager SEA you are a creative thinker who can develop and execute new marketing strategies and initiatives to grow, retain, and monetize on the Warzone Mobile player base through compelling and effective marketing plans. You are a business-oriented manager who values measuring and optimizing the effectiveness and return to your marketing investment program. You will create and implement marketing and business strategy to group our user bases and maintain the long-term brand health of franchises, working closely with local agencies and cross-functionally with the global marketing teams at HQ.
You must be able to assess mobile market conditions across the SEA markets and put together comprehensive go to market plans with a broad view that encompasses brand partnerships, media, social media marketing and collaboration with Communications on PR and ambassador activity. This role requires a team player that is focused, driven, diplomatic and creative, with a strong passion for gaming. This person will be responsible for a wide range of brand development activities, including go-to-market strategic planning and execution for South East Asia.
Responsibilities
- Drive the overall planning and execution of the Warzone Mobile launch go-to-market plan in South East Asia, collaborated with the rest of the go-to-market organization and close partnership with regional franchise and functional leaders
- Develop best in class acquisition and engagement campaigns from inception to launch. Including writing briefs, working cross functionally with creative teams, and tracking results.
- Responsible for the management of an allocated variable sales and marketing budget with an emphasis of building, managing, maintaining and explaining the program.
- Present marketing strategies and plans to key stakeholders within APAC and Activision mobile headquarters
- Manage agency partners to design and manage best-in-class campaigns & creatives that resonates within the local players & community of South East Asia.
- Own goals and performance metrics for campaigns; monitor regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy and creative, making recommendations for continuous improvement through post campaign analysis and reporting.
- Meet or exceed the Operating Income goals by maximizing return-on-investment approach to Marketing and Brand Management.
- Stay current with competitor launches, marketing programs and sales performance in the region and beyond.
- Drive and leverage local partnerships with a focus on delivery of added value supporting to the success of campaign.
- Oversee social media strategies, campaigns, and growth for channels
Requirement
- Has 5+ years of direct work experience in publishing, marketing, product management or strategic planning with a minimum of 3 years’ working in the video game, media, tech or Internet industry.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, team player with a strong track record of delivering results.
- Passion for data and consumer insight driven decision-making.
- In depth knowledge of the SEA video games industry, broad understanding of channels within (social, media, PR, community, influencer) & player behaviors.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with internal and external teams.
- Strong proficiency in knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Able to travel internationally if needed.
- Fluency in English for both written & spoken is a must. One additional language capability from the following is highly desirable: Thai, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Bahasa
- Demonstrated success in launching commercial game products is preferred
- A passionate gamer with strong knowledge of the mobile shooting market is preferred. Call of Duty IP familiarity strongly preferred
