Product Marketing Manager, Merge Mansion

That’s where we hope you come in: to take ownership of our marketing initiatives roadmap, and make us even better at communicating about new content and features of Merge Mansion with the players.

• Relocation: Relocating to Finland expected, full support provided
• Remote work: Hybrid model of office and remote work

Responsibilities

Product Marketing Manager plays a key role in identifying what, how and where we communicate about new content and features of the game with our players to improve engagement and expand the playerbase of Merge Mansion. In practice, this means (at least) the following:

• Taking ownership of Merge Mansion’s marketing initiatives roadmap that focuses on both current and churned players
• Developing and implementing the go to market strategy for updates
• Defining the main communication points of our updates, the assets and approach for different consumer touchpoints, and key stakeholders
• Building brand equity by ensuring the consistent and on-brand execution of game communication
• Participating in game development by making recommendations to improve engagement, shareability, and integrate in-game promotional events and marketing mechanisms better
• Managing and leading creative assets creation for current players including keyarts, icons, videos and screenshots, to name a few

Requirements

Every role is eventually shaped to match our unique passions, backgrounds and strengths. Here are some of the key skills and experience you should already have when joining Metacore as a Product Marketing Manager, Merge Mansion:

• At least 3 years of experience in product marketing, or a similar marketing role, in the game industry
• Deep understanding of operating live games as a service – you know what it takes to deliver the best user experience for the players
• A creative spark and familiarity with high-quality marketing assets
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with great interpersonal skills
• Excellent English, that’ll enable you to engage comfortably with our multicultural team, and partners
• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail - there might be many moving parts but you’re always on top of things
• Growth mindset, natural curiosity, and an innate need for constant improvement
  
  In addition to these, it would be nice but not mandatory for you to have these as well:
• Experience working with a global gaming, entertainment or cultural brand targeting females 25-45, who’re the target audience of Merge Mansion, for Mass Market
• Strong sense of creativity and a good eye for emerging social media trends
• Comprehensive understanding of in-game analytics and reporting
• Excellent understanding of storytelling
