Job Description
As a Product Marketing Lead, you will oversee the Marketing Specialists across multiple Gameloft studios. Your primary focus will be to drive ambitious marketing activation roadmaps for key game titles, ensuring that each campaign is impact-driven and aligned with revenue and profitability goals. You will mentor your team, foster innovation and business development, and lead the development of innovative marketing programs that enhance player engagement and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management and Leadership:
- Lead and manage the Marketing Specialists across several Gameloft studios.
- Define ambitious and strategic marketing activation roadmaps for key game titles as March of Empires, War Planet Online, Despicable Me2, Disney Magic Kingdom and Dragon Mania Legends.
- Mentor and develop your team’s sense of innovation, focusing on business development and impact-driven results with a strong ROI focus.
2. Marketing Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement innovative marketing programs that include unique activations, viral content, and meaningful partnerships.
- Coordinate the implementation of marketing strategies by working closely with other teams, including Production, Live Ops, User Acquisition (UA), Social & Digital, Influencers, and Public Relations (PR).
3. Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide regular reports to game managers, studio managers, and headquarters, detailing campaign performance, insights, and recommendations.
4. Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:
- Foster collaboration and facilitate the sharing of best practices among team members.
- Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the marketing activations team.
5. Asset Creation and Management:
- Oversee the creation of promotional assets required for marketing campaigns.
- Ensure assets align with the marketing roadmap and game branding.
6. Game Development Support:
- Actively participate in game development discussions, providing marketing insights to enhance user experience, engagement and retention.
- Suggest ways to integrate in-game promotional events and marketing mechanisms seamlessly.
7. Central Process Implementation:
- Play a key role in implementing central marketing processes as a central member of the marketing activations vertical.
- Support the marketing team by facilitating the adoption of best practices and centralized processes.
8. Ad Hoc Projects and Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in cross-studio projects to support the development and improvement of the marketing activations vertical.
- Adapt to the evolving needs of the marketing department and the gaming industry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally within the gaming industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing marketing teams.
- Deep understanding of marketing activations, brand strategy, and revenue-driven marketing campaigns.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and coordinating large-scale marketing initiatives.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to report on campaign performance.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of gamer behavior and trends.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
