Product Manager

We are looking for a results-oriented and innovative Product Manager to join our team and support our flagship game brand, Magic: The Gathering. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the international business needs of our premier set releases in our global tabletop product portfolio. You will help to develop new products, collaborate with Producers on planning, and work closely with our Finance team overseeing P&L development.

You'll drive internal teams to push for innovation in the production of our game, and maintain our high standards of quality. Work closely with product marketing managers and internal development teams to identify key selling points for each new product release, and develop information flow to help our business teams make informed decisions about how to market and sell our products. This will include creating internal documentation for those teams as well as contributing to the creation of presentations to internal and external business partners.

The ideal candidate has expertise in Product Management, and an outstanding ability to execute on projects from planning through delivery, a passion for product development, and an affinity for games. Working knowledge of Magic: The Gathering is an asset, and experience dealing with the challenges of an international business are a strong plus!

What You'll Do

• Use data from Consumer Insights and Business Intelligence teams to identify regional consumer trends and inform new product ideas and improvements to existing products.
• Work with the Product Strategy team and regional business partners to develop and implement a regional growth strategy for Magic tabletop product, as well as a comprehensive road map for product localization.
• Partner with our Operations team on new product innovations, and product quality improvements.
• Work with Product Marketing and Finance teams to define P&L goals for new products.
• Build a post-mortem analysis on performance and ROI of product releases for tabletop products; adjust plans and optimize.
• Develop and deliver product presentations to internal and external business partners.
• Research and communicate current market trends and competitive activity to identify potential new products.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ yrs experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Brand Strategy, or similar, preferably supporting a global brand.
• Expertise in developing cutting-edge consumer products, preferably games.
• Adept in communicating the strengths of a specific product to dependent teams downstream of production.
• Ability to drive projects forward within a highly matrixed organization; you are able to influence others in adopting recommendations, and provide clear and concise direction/feedback to partners.
• Strong project management; capable of prioritizing and balancing multiple projects simultaneously, under tight deadlines, and within budget parameters.
• BA/BS degree preferably with a concentration in Marketing, Business, or related coursework, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge and passion for Magic: The Gathering is a huge plus.
