We are looking for a Product Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will work directly with our game teams to help and create the most engaging and rewarding product and live service experience for our players. You are dedicated to figuring out what players want, how they behave in the game, and most importantly, why. From there, you will consider insights from data and work with the game teams to create actionable product roadmaps.
This role is for someone who can take on at least one area of a game (Early/Mid/Late) and drive that area to improve the experience and KPIs. You will be focused on optimizing one segment of the expansive player journey, and work with other segment owners to provide a compelling overall player experience that drives the business.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Work closely with the game team, including the Lead and Senior Product Managers (as applicable), and other stakeholders to inform and execute product strategy around one or more areas of the game
- Stay in touch with players, advocate for our customers, and deliver a product that retains and engages them
- Understand the product strategic directives and contribute to setting goals and results through the associated KPIs
- Contribute to a comprehensive in-app event and monetization strategy in one or more areas of the game with design that gives users engaging things to do each day and supports planned feature releases
- Proactively identify issues, optimizations, and feature implementations/improvements to maximize the player experience and business performance
- Have the ability to do detailed deconstructions of popular game features and their monetization mechanics to influence decisions to incorporate these trends or not
- Supports Lead/Senior Product Managers by executing a variety of tasks related to product development
- Work closely with design and Live Ops teams to conceptualize and implement features, mechanics, systems, and modalities of play that fulfill business goals in one or more areas of the game
- Communicate with the data team to conduct an in-depth analysis of in-game trends using data insights to impact top-line KPIs
- Meet regularly with the game team and key stakeholders to communicate about results and next steps
- Evaluate and prioritize feature requests in one or more areas of the game
- Ensures features meet the creative standards set by the product vision
- Keep abreast of and understand gaming/market trends and player preferences across all genres and platforms
- Possesses analytical and communication skills and a drive to improve their knowledge/application of those skills
Your background includes:
- Experience: 1-2+ years in Product Management; Experience in gaming is a big plus!
- Communication: Communicates in a clear, concise, and professional manner with staff at all levels; adapts communication style to the audience; explains difficult situations clearly
- Collaboration: Collaborates effectively with others in the same discipline, across feature groups and cross-discipline regularly
- Teamwork: Builds trusted relationships with team members across disciplines, inspires and encourages teamwork
- Industry: Gaming trends and market knowledge plus a drive to continue to grow this knowledge
