Product Manager

$100bn was spent on in-game items last year. $0 went to players. We believe that games should provide more than just entertainment value for the time and money invested. At Immutable, we are combining blockchain technology and gaming expertise to solve this problem. Specifically, blockchain allows players to truly own their in-game items and to sell items for real money.

As a Product Manager, you will help our flagship game, Gods Unchained, build, launch and operate an innovative, new product that will supercharge our growth to one million players.

You’d manage the delivery, go to market strategy and coordination of the product launch. After the launch, you are accountable for the overall success of the product by managing and optimising its ongoing operations.

In this cross-functional role, you must feel comfortable questioning assumptions and reframing requests to ensure we are solving the right problems.

Here’s how you’ll contribute:

• Responsible for defining project objectives, project scope, feature lists, user journeys, technical requirements and legal requirements via coordinating and communicating with all other stakeholders
• Develop, monitor and track a detailed project plan to ensure clear accountabilities
• Weekly reporting of the project status of the products, including key blockers and issues
• Proactively identify risks, identify mitigative actions and implement these actions to prevent potential delays to timeline or scope
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation using tools like Google Sheets, Google Docs and Confluence to ensure all stakeholders know where they can find the ‘source of truth’
• Coordinate all relevant meetings required to discuss and create the products, including the creation of clear agenda, tracking actions and following up on the next steps
• Develop relationships and strategies to increase adoption
• Ensure the product is adequately represented in the market
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors / lawyers to successfully execute the issuance and distribution of our product

A bit about you:

• 4 years of Product or Project Management experience leading a team of engineers, designers and others to get to a product release
• A genuine interest in cryptocurrencies, NFTs and blockchain
• Ability to handle issues, communications and manage timelines and processes
• Problem-solving: Able to identify problems, break them down logically, identify potential options, get the necessary inputs required from other stakeholders to inform your decision, make a recommendation and get a decision made
• Exceptional organisational skills. Able to live in timetables, spreadsheets and project trackers
• Exceptional tracking of project and coordination of other stakeholders. Able to get input from various stakeholders and identify the right sequencing of various actions to get to the desired outcome
• Ability to learn quickly, dive in and become familiar with product features and functionality, anticipate questions and over-deliver
• Clear communicator who is able to collaborate with engineering teams and external stakeholders to achieve an outcome
• Generalist / fast learner: You’re comfortable with ‘never before solved’ issues
