We're currently looking for a seasoned Product Manager who loves data and has a great mind for bringing ideas from conception to fruition. You will have the opportunity to collaborate on a highly profitable mobile game and work with a truly inspired team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the live-ops team for your franchise.
- Manage and the data science and economy designers to ensure they are focussed on high ROI initiatives.
- Drive product requirements and features based on your deep understanding of F2P mobile game design and player engagement and monetization mechanics.
- Work closely with the design and data analytics team to develop the product roadmap.
- Ensure success and growth of your franchise by developing a product vision, strategy, roadmap and lifecycle management framework.
- Own live operations by managing, analyzing, and balancing the events and offers in your franchise.
- Own the A/B testing process of the franchise allowing the team to validate hypotheses and translate the results into solid data driven design decisions.
- Conduct benchmarking and analysis of competitors. Own and analyze game metrics (acquisition, retention, engagement, monetization), identify and implement optimizations strategies.
- Deriving insights from data visualizations from the data analysts to improve product features.
- Leveraging user data and feedback to validate and prioritize design ideas through the entire lifecycle of a feature (i.e. design, execution, as a live feature, and further iteration).
- Collaborating with team members across the studio (within Product team and outside of Product team) on executing game ideas including design, content creation and data integration.
- Managing a game's end-to-end lifecycle and design challenges across multiple features and monitoring this progression through completion of milestones.
- Consulting on game specifications and driving the use of innovative game technology.
- Guide game economy designers and data analysts.
Requirements:
- Experience working on a top grossing mobile game.
- 3+ years of experience as a product management on a live product, preferably a free to play mobile game.
- Experience creating product specifications, design documents, and white papers.
- Strong data analysis skills using spreadsheets and querying databases.
- Outstanding written/oral, organizational and time management skills.
- Previous startup experience is desirable, comfort in an agile environment.
- A passion for games, up to date on tech and trends in the games industry.
- A confident approach capable of championing features you believe in through criticism.
- Strong analytical mindset, recognizes problems and opportunities through an objective and data-centric framework.
- Take initiative to identify and solve problems, or present solutions.
- Generates new and innovative approaches to problems, creates product specifications, design documents and white papers.
- Plans, organizes, and schedules, in an efficient, productive manner, focusing on key priorities.
- Manage input from stakeholders and coordinate plans.
- Set and manage a schedule, deliverables and outcomes.
- Ability to motivate teams and communicate objectives clearly.
