Product Manager (Two Dots LiveOps Focus)
Inspired by minimalist art, Dots was created with the notion that beauty and fun are not mutually exclusive. Now, as part of the Take-Two Interactive family and a successful studio, our goal is to provide the world with engaging and stylish daily play experiences. We need a Product Manager who can help plan and execute LiveOps efforts that grow revenue to join our diverse, multi-talented team.
We are looking for a Product Manager with a passion for games and a strong ambition to drive growth working on one of our biggest hit titles, Two Dots. This role will be part of the Product Team responsible for pushing initiatives to grow our game's audience, improve retention & monetization, and spread best practices throughout the studio. This is a full-time position based in our NYC office.
The ideal candidate has experience managing a live operations calendar for a consumer-facing product. This role focuses on leveraging new and existing features to drive positive business outcomes. Product Managers with this role will lead all aspects of implementing limited-time events (concept, asset management, asset development, configuration, testing, and execution). Familiarity with the casual puzzle and puzzle RPG genres, including the systems that power those games, is a strong plus.
Dots is a very hands-on studio, so the Product Manager role will be deeply involved in updating campaigns using internal tools, evaluating LiveOps A/B tests, and collaborating with our data science team to analyze performance.
You will:
- Create engaging mechanics and core game loops managing the complete player life cycle.
- Write feature specifications and work with cross-functional teams to see their release.
- Analyze important metrics and player feedback on a real-time basis to understand player trends and behavior.
- Design tools and techniques in partnership with the engineering team to automate live events and offers for players.
- Help build a comprehensive, detailed live operations strategy and roadmap aligned with the overarching Two Dots product vision.
- Coordinate in-game communication to ensure all events are supported with the appropriate messaging to players.
- Demonstrate ownership of internal LiveOps tools, recommend improvements, and spread in-game event best practices throughout the studio.
We are looking for:
- Strong passion and knowledge for video games, particularly free-to-play mobile titles (love for puzzle games a plus).
- 2+ years experience in product management, system design, live operations, or analytics.
- Proven track record of developing or improving features for a live, free-to-play mobile game or other similar consumer-facing product.
- Analytical thinker with experience in analyzing data using various tools to express your ideas and create actionable recommendations.
- Skills to create and design experiences that shape positive player behavior.
- Ability to build wire-frames, product specifications, and "white paper-like" summary documents.
- Great instincts for user experience and fun with the ability to articulate to others what makes something compelling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to set and maintain clear goals and work well in a team environment.
- Familiarity or experience developing in Unity is a plus.
- Exceptional data analysis and problem-solving skills. SQL querying abilities are a strong plus.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
What We Offer You:
- Great Company Culture: Collaborative design and working style. Strong sense of autonomy but a supportive atmosphere. Fun board game nights & team outings to celebrate successful projects. Weekly company-wide meetings to stay connected with other teams and enjoy some casual hangouts with wine and cheese every Thursday.
- Growth: As a global entertainment company, we pride ourselves on creating environments where employees are encouraged to be themselves, inquisitive, collaborative and to grow within and around the company.
- Benefits: Medical (HSA & FSA), dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan, commuter benefits, in-house wellness program, broad learning & development opportunities, a charitable giving platform with company match and more!
- Perks: Fitness allowance, employee discount programs, free games & events, stocked pantries and the ability to earn up to $500+ per year for taking care of yourself and more!
- Proven Track Record: Dots is an award-winning gaming company with three mobile hits—Dots, Two Dots, and Dots & Co—and over 100 million installs. We are newly proud members of the T2 family.
- While currently operating in a hybrid work environment, we expect to return to our stylish office, located in Manhattan in the historic Meatpacking District, once we can safely do so.
- We promote a friendly, honest, and collaborative work environment and believe we are at our best when we include everyone, regardless of one's race, nationality, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, physical ability or attribute, and religious beliefs. We are proud of the diversity we've fostered and are continuing to make changes within the company to make Dots more equitable for everyone.
