Product Manager, Marketplace Design

We are a team of veteran game and platform developers with a passion for bringing big innovative concepts to market. Our goal is to create world-class products that drive consumer adoption of distributed ledger technology through games.

We are looking for a Product Manager to define, design, and manage the delivery of a core part of our marketplace product offering. The ideal candidate has experience designing and implementing tools and services for consumer marketplace participants. If you love building services related to product distribution, pricing, liquidity, or yield optimization and have a passion for marketplace design, we are looking for you!

• Drive product vision for our secondary marketplace products, tools, and services across our internal games, platform offering, external partners, and users.
• Own the strategy for driving growth and improving user experience for marketplace participants through new features and services, additional channels, and product optimizations.
• Collect and synthesize feedback and data from buyers, sellers, and marketplace operators to inform the product strategy.
• Own and prioritize the marketplace roadmap and backlog.
• Drive product development execution including sprint planning, maintaining product specs and backlog, and coordinating design, development, and QA activities.
• Champion an analytics-driven, customer-first approach to product strategy. Be our internal authority on the performance of our marketplace offerings.
• Regularly assess the competitive landscape; identify and analyze opportunities in the market for new features that align with our product strategy.
• Work with other cross-functional teams within Mythical to support the corporate strategy and align on scheduling and resources.

• MBA with a background in computer science, economics, applied mathematics, or related field
• Experience designing or building marketplace capabilities for physical or digital items
• Experience in managing the build of cloud-based platforms, tools and services capable of handling increasing throughputs over time
• Adept in evaluating and integrating third-party APIs, SDKs, and tools needed by the marketplace
• Ability to perform both internal product/technical oversight as well as client-facing functions
• Strong interest in blockchain technologies
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Comfortable gathering and analyzing data for reporting technical and business metrics
• Self-driven: able to innovate, plan, and execute with autonomy
