Please note that we are currently planning on having our internships in person. With that said, the safety of our employees is a top priority and we are comfortable transitioning our internship to be 100% virtual if needed.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university
- Returning for at least one more semester or quarter following the Summer 202 2 internship
- Able to work full-time hours for 11 – 12 weeks at the Blizzard office indicated in this job posting between May 202 2 – August 202 2 or June 202 2 – September 202 2 (group dates depend on when you get out of school)
- Authorized to work in the US
Product Manage r Intern : We are looking for an Intern to organize and coordinate team projects with our Austin-based Mobile Services team. As a Product Manager, you will act as a champion for the features your team develops and help to keep them on track towards delivery.
- Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and partner teams to produce new features and content experiences that deliver value to our players.
- Facilitate project execution for our cross-functional team through organization, documentation, scheduling, and process improvements.
- Work with your Product Management, Design, and Engineering counterparts to conduct research to inform the product roadmap.
- Design and execute experiments to validate or invalidate hypotheses that are critical to the development and execution of our product strategy.
- Champion transparency and effective communication across the team and the greater organization.
Production Intern : We are looking for an Intern to organize and coordinate team projects with our Austin-based Mobile Services team. As a Production Intern, you will act as a champion for the features your team develops and help to keep them on track towards delivery.
- Coordinate with Producers, Artists, Engineers, Designers, and members of Quality Assurance
- Assist in the tracking of tasks for all disciplines including Art, Engineering, and Design.
- Document/update notes for decisions made during team and department meetings.
- Assist the production team with administrative and organizational tasks as necessary, including office beautification and team events.
- Assist in archival and indexing of game assets in a centralized system.
- Support and take direction from production leadership.
Project Management Intern : We are looking for a project management intern to organize and coordinate team projects with one of our core teams across the Battlenet and Online Products team. As a Product Manager, you will act as a champion for the features your team develops and help to keep them on track towards delivery.
- Organize and monitor projects from beginning to end.
- Help the lead product management define and document specific features to be built.
- Keep leadership and stakeholders apprised of status.
- In partnership with your team, leverage creativity and problem-solving to iterate on development processes.
- Create transparency, predictability, and consistency within your team.
- Experience with Atlassian products, specifically Jira and Confluence.
- Comfort with technical projects (platforms, SDKs, APIs, etc.).
- Previous agile experience. (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication, a proactive communicator, and an affinity for creating documentation.
- Previous mobile app or game development experience.
- Experience with complex group projects, especially in a software development space.
- Experience analyzing data to make decisions and visualizing data in reports.
