The internship program offers the opportunity to pause your studies for one summer and work side-by-side with Blizzard Entertainment employees in your area of interest, doing real work that oftentimes ends up in production. As such, we hold you to the same high standards as anybody else in the company.

Just like our gameplay experiences, Blizzard internships are a fully immersive experience. We want interns who are enthusiastic about what they want to do for a living and excited to come in every day to learn and contribute in this hyper-creative atmosphere. QUEST OBJECTIVES

The Battle.net & Online Products organization is home to 300+ superpowered engineers, product managers, and designers focused on the technology that powers Blizzard Entertainment’s games. Whether you’re playing one of our titles, chatting with friends, or just shopping online, B&OP ensures that our players are immersed in engaging, exciting, and secure experiences. Ideal candidates will:

• Organize and coordinate team projects
• Act as a champion for the features your team develops and help to keep them on track towards delivery

QUEST REQUIREMENTS

• Currently enrolled in a college or university
• Returning for at least one more semester or quarter following the Summer 2021 internship
• Able to work fulltime hours for 11 – 12 weeks at the Blizzard office indicated in this job posting between May 2021 – August 2021 or June 2021 – September 2021 (group dates depend on when you get out of school)

• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and partner teams to produce new features and content experiences that deliver value to our players.

Product Manager Intern, Battle.net and Online Products – Ecommerce

The ideal candidate for this role has a technical background, has an inquisitive nature, is a regular user of multiple platforms, is familiar with Agile development methodologies, and is a natural at inspiring and influencing others. • Learn - Understand what our customers and competitors are doing and why. Analyze performance in the marketplace for opportunities to innovate, improve customer experience and increase adoption.
• Craft a product – Work closely with our cross-functional teams to take what you’ve learned and document a pitch and functional specification that highlights the what, why and how to go to market with the new feature or product.
• Create a plan - Help define clear and concise focus areas by identifying the desired business outcomes, priorities to improve, and defining measurements to achieve this goal. Product Manager Intern, Battle.net and Online Products – Platform, Aurora

The Aurora team provides the interfaces, products and services that power Blizzard’s Battle.net social and game systems across our games and applications for millions of users worldwide. This role will work across Blizzard’s platform and game development teams to identify problems, determine goals, propose solutions, and drive alignment on specifications and ultimately deliver high-quality products.

In this position, you will help with executing the vision to continuously improve our services and systems. You will interact with a team of engineers as well as stakeholders from around Blizzard. Our ideal candidate is passionate about games and application development as well as managing technical products.

Our team is working on a long-term project to migrate our data pipelines from on-premise hardware to Google’s cloud offerings. The collection of products in this portfolio support the data analysis work of our entire enterprise. In this position, you will help with executing the vision to continuously improve our data platform. You will interact with a team of engineers as well as stakeholders from around Blizzard. Our ideal candidate is passionate about Big Data and managing technical products.

Our team provides the interfaces and services that power Blizzard’s push notifications across our mobile applications and games for millions of users worldwide as well as critical client interfaces that facilitate connection into our data pipeline, player attribution and a variety of other services like deep linking, automated APIs and integration with 3rd party vendors. This role will work across Blizzard from game development teams to marketing, publishing, IT and global insights to identify problems, determine goals, propose solutions, and drive alignment on specifications and ultimately deliver high-quality products. In this position, you will help with executing the vision to continuously improve our mobile services and systems. You will interact with a team of engineers as well as stakeholders from around Blizzard. Our ideal candidate is passionate about mobile game and application development as well as managing technical products.
