The internship program offers the opportunity to pause your studies for one summer and work side-by-side with Blizzard Entertainment employees in your area of interest, doing real work that oftentimes ends up in production. QUEST OBJECTIVES
The Battle.net & Online Products organization is home to 300+ superpowered engineers, product managers, and designers focused on the technology that powers Blizzard Entertainment’s games. Whether you’re playing one of our titles, chatting with friends, or just shopping online, B&OP ensures that our players are immersed in engaging, exciting, and secure experiences. Ideal candidates will:
- Organize and coordinate team projects
- Act as a champion for the features your team develops and help to keep them on track towards delivery

- Currently enrolled in a college or university
- Returning for at least one more semester or quarter following the Summer 2021 internship
- Able to work fulltime hours for 11 – 12 weeks at the Blizzard office indicated in this job posting between May 2021 – August 2021 or June 2021 – September 2021 (group dates depend on when you get out of school)

The Aurora team provides the interfaces, products and services that power Blizzard’s Battle.net social and game systems across our games and applications for millions of users worldwide. This role will work across Blizzard’s platform and game development teams to identify problems, determine goals, propose solutions, and drive alignment on specifications and ultimately deliver high-quality products.
In this position, you will help with executing the vision to continuously improve our services and systems. You will interact with a team of engineers as well as stakeholders from around Blizzard. Our ideal candidate is passionate about games and application development as well as managing technical products.

Our team provides the interfaces and services that power Blizzard’s push notifications across our mobile applications and games for millions of users worldwide as well as critical client interfaces that facilitate connection into our data pipeline, player attribution and a variety of other services like deep linking, automated APIs and integration with 3rd party vendors. This role will work across Blizzard from game development teams to marketing, publishing, IT and global insights to identify problems, determine goals, propose solutions, and drive alignment on specifications and ultimately deliver high-quality products. In this position, you will help with executing the vision to continuously improve our mobile services and systems. You will interact with a team of engineers as well as stakeholders from around Blizzard. Our ideal candidate is passionate about mobile game and application development as well as managing technical products.
