Overview
We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Business Performance team in supporting the evaluation of M&A and publishing opportunities across the mobile games landscape. This entails data-driven sourcing, strategic evaluation, product teardown, and business forecasting of games and companies across the industry. This role is responsible for leading strategic projects bridging different disciplines including product development, data analytics, user acquisition, live operations, and financial planning. Successful candidates in this position are effective communicators that can work collaboratively with a variety of teams and personalities.What You'll Do
- You will evaluate game products, competitor research, and audience analysis to build business cases for investments in development and / or acquisition of mobile gaming businesses
- You will partner with Data Science and Engineering teams to build upon and operate the game data tracking and forecasting tools
- You will analyze user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization data from various data sources to screen and pitch opportunities
- You will manage the top of funnel pipeline in order to meet bottom of funnel investment goals
- You will develop qualitative perspectives on investment opportunities through play tests, product teardowns, and sector research
- You will partner with Product, Growth, and Finance teams to translate strategy and analysis to financial forecasts
- You will prepare materials and present to senior executives on investment opportunities and business performance against financial goals
- You will drive effective communications and process alignment across various partner organizations to progress key business objectives
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years’ experience in product management, consulting, analytics, or finance
- Highly analytical and creative problem solver
- Passion for mobile games and understanding of industry landscape
- Strong presentation skills with experience in deck building
- An advocate for strategy which takes research, data, and industry trends into account
- Comfortable taking calculated risks
- Collaborative, team player that thrives in cross-discipline teams
