Product Manager, Big Data Platform

Role Responsibilities:
- Develop a keen understanding of the needs of the Data Ocean from internal partners
- Develop, maintain, and evangelize the product roadmap
- Work with colleagues to propose and present future product innovations for the Data Storage platform
- Input into the Data Platform Product Management Lead as part of the wider product roadmap
- Engage at a technical level to drive product requirements
- Drive feature prioritization, process improvements, and product development with an eye on critical metrics
- Define success metrics and SLAs on the key data products and services
- You will perform User Acceptance Testing and ensure requirements were understood and implemented as requested
- You will actively provide customer and business context to engineering team
- Establish SME status relative to the PlayStation Data Platform
- Drive collaboration/partnership across all data owners/providers and with key data partners - to ensure product vision is delivered
Required Qualifications, Skills, & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in product management (data related technologies preferred)
- Strong analytical abilities
- An understanding of big data storage within cloud based environments
- Strong querying skills and data visualization
- An understanding of common privacy industry standards/ regulations (e.g. GDPR, VPPA, COPPA, SOX), especially as it relates to building a program and/or leading internal controls, risk assessments, business processes or operational auditing
- An ambitious self-starter who deals well with ambiguity
- Ability to work independently
- Ability and willingness to travel and work with diverse multinational teams and cultures
