Product Manager - Sydney, Australia

PRODUCT MANAGER - Sydney, Australia






Role Purpose:

Reporting to the Australia/NZ Head of Marketing & Communications, the Australian/NZ Product Manager will plan and execute marketing campaigns for specified 2K titles in the marketplace. They will be responsible for ensuring all plans are implemented on time and within pre-set budgets. In addition, the Product Manager will offer additional support on all other 2K titles.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute marketing plans for allocated products hitting pre-set objectives in line with brand positioning
• Accurately position allocated products in the marketplace, identifying key market segments and providing relevant reports and analyses – competitor analyses/risk analyses etc.
• Work with the Trade Marketing Manager to ensure that relevant and impactful trade marketing activity is in place for each allocated title
• Liaise with the 2K International Brand Team in the creative production process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
• Conduct post-launch sales reviews and re-promotion strategies to ensure products reach or exceed targets
• Be capable of demonstrating games at a perfunctory level to retail/trade and press as required
• Required to write classification reports for the Australian Classification Board and demonstrate mature titles to the NZ Office of Film and Literature Classification
• Forge a close relationship with the Australian/NZ Communications team to ensure marketing and PR/Social plans link effectively
• Work closely with the Sales Team to provide the best possible support including assets, product information, product demo training and when required product demonstrations to retail buyers
• Plan and execute consumer and retail trade events
• Work with third-party licensors and licensees to develop and implement effective cross-promotion marketing activity
• Monitor and forecast performance and contribute to planning and budgeting
• Manage budget allocations effectively, with maximum impact while ensuring all approvals are sought and obtained
• Manage and control relevant third party suppliers and agencies
• Forecast marketing spends accurately with finance manager on a monthly basis
• Manage budget allocations effectively, with maximum impact and ROI while ensuring all approvals are sought and obtained
• Proactively seek and develop improved communication strategies both internally and externally

• Build and maintain excellent working relationships and communication channels with 2K International Brand Team and Take Two Sales departments
• Build and maintain good working relationships with external media and promotional agencies
• Become a proactive team member within the 2K structure
• Become an ambassador for 2K in Australia/NZ
