Uken is looking for a Producer to join the team. This position is responsible for ensuring the health, quality and delivery of multiple new games at Uken. This includes overseeing a smooth process and roadmap that is transparent, leading to ownership and accountability on the team. This position reports to the Director of Game Development.
You’ll be working on meaningful things like:
- Crafting and maintaining a process for the team; creating/maintaining a workflow for the team
- Owning and organizing task backlog across releases
- Setting roadmap (structuring of current, near-term, and future plans)
- Organizing and guiding the schedule and release plan for the project quarter by quarter
- Guiding and managing development/performance of direct reports in QA and Art
Your background should include:
- 3+ years experience in a Producer role for a published game title(s) (mobile, AAA or PC)
- Project management experience including gathering requirements, setting a schedule, tracking progress, giving feedback and setting deadlines
- Comfortable and advanced knowledge of JIRA, Google Suite and other software for project management (e.g. Asana, Trello, Basecamp)
- Experience leading teams and/or managing team members including development and coaching
- Experience working with external partners/stakeholders is an asset
- Experience with Unity is an asset
