Job Description

Reporting to the Studio Manager, the producer will be responsible for the efficient management of our Development Team to ensure deadlines are achieved and work quality meets Ubisoft standards. You will oversee the advancement of the work and the attainment of production objectives as well as ensuring high levels of motivation and commitment from team members across a wide range of disciplines (Art, Design, Programming, etc.).

Responsibilities

Champion leadership within the project: You lead both the production and multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating charisma, enthusiasm and sense of commitment, even critical situations. You gauge the team’s morale and provide a work environment that fosters high productivity. You anticipate problematic situations and address them immediately.

Drive improvements and processes. You streamline and optimize the team, processes and workflows. You implement best practices and continuously drive improvements in our productivity and services.

Stakeholders management. You are the main contact for all departments and project stakeholder. You provide visibility to project deliverables and ensure alignment between them and your team while maintaining healthy studio collaboration

Project ownership. You define the milestones and provide clear expectation, scope and timeline to the team and stakeholders. You identify risks and provide contingency plans to ensure planning and product success. You are accountable for meeting the project’s budget, quality and timing. You own the team organization, production process and change management. You set production KPIs, development priorities and scope while setting the standard for product quality and project management.

Grow the team. You ensure succession planning within your team. You mentor and provide opportunities for growth and training, clear job expectations and challenging objectives. You ensure coherence and equity in their performance assessments. You take part in identifying new talent and provide them with good onboarding.

Qualifications

• Degree in business administration, project management or equivalent
• Has shipped at least 1 AAA console game as a Producer or Associate Producer
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in team and project management
• Knowledgeable on the trades and process of video game development
• Excellent knowledge of project management methods and tools
• Solution oriented and ability to work effectively under pressure;
• Strong leadership skill
