Producer

OVERVIEW

As a Producer, you will support teams creating a game that pushes the boundaries of what is possible on PlayStation. This is a key role within the team and requires someone who is goal-focused, adaptable and comfortable coordinating multidisciplinary teams to successfully deliver on a shared vision.

WHAT YOU WILL DO/YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive the team to deliver the game to specification, on time and on budget while refining plans as the game evolves throughout development.
• Collaborate with the production team on schedules and support project budget reporting.
• Proactively identify needs or problems and work with the team to fix them before they arise.
• Evangelise production process, pipelines, and propose improvements to maximise efficiency.
• Facilitate good communication and knowledge sharing in the team across all disciplines.
• Champion and nurture a healthy, open and collaborative culture within the team.

WHO YOU ARE/YOUR IDEAL EXPERIENCE

• You can work autonomously but also know when to ask for help from senior production and your peers.
• You collaborate with production peers to improve best practices and process.
• You are organised and detail focused.
• You are a clear and precise communicator.
• You can identify risks early and create mitigation strategies.
• You are comfortable collaborating and communicating with a multidiscipline team.
• You have been in a production role and supported the end to end delivery of a project – which does not specifically need to be game.
• You can demonstrate your understanding of different production methodologies and can show how you’ve worked with them on previous projects.
• You are currently an assistant or associate producer in the video games industry or a producer in a non-gaming role with an interest in game development.
• You are experienced in a range of software packages used in the organisation of projects.
• You have a genuine passion for games and how they are made.
