Role: Producer - Sound
Role Overview:
We are looking for a creative problem solver with amazing communication skills and attention to detail. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most quality-driven developers in the industry on some of the most exciting AAA games for PlayStation. This position will work on a wide range of production tasks across multiple game projects focusing on audio production; adapting to different workflows based on the title and type of project.
What you will be doing:
- Schedule and drive multi-discipline deliverables between sound teams and external partners globally
- Communicate multi-discipline timelines and information.
- Develop and maintain optimized workflows that achieve game directives within audio.
- Support development efforts to keep product on schedule and within budget.
- Contribute to the production team’s overall global tracking of project and staff information
- Be a resource for scope information for assigned game titles
- Identifying areas of risk to schedule and budget
- Breakdown large or complex tasks into manageable subtasks
- Participate in regular meetings with the project teams and individuals to discuss status, identify action items, and plan or troubleshoot production resources.
- Be detailed focused and maintain the required databases to ensure the team has accurate and timely information from which to make informed decisions.
- Identify and recall information across various internal resources to inform strategic decisions or processes within the audio team
What are we looking for:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a game production role or a post-production supervision role
- Working knowledge of video game industry
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design/Technology field or equivalent work experience
- Interest in Game Audio
- Experience with Jira and/or other production software
- Experience working across multiple projects
