Producer
As a Producer on the PlayEveryWare team, you'll be the first line of support for a team working across multiple projects with unique needs. A Producer is accountable for the delivery of our company's work that will delight all of our customers (external partners and consumers). You’ll work with internal engineers and testers, and external partners, to to drive customer focus, team priorities, and coordinate deliverables across multiple disciplines to achieve monumental goals.
What You Will Do:
- Keep the team aware of deliverables and goals through all phases of development. Sprint Planning, bug triaging and general backlog management.
- Coordinate between internal studio and external partner teams in day-to-day work.
- Coordinate between First-party publishers (Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft) and our internal development team to ensure issues with published titles are communicated and solved promptly.
- Identify holes or inefficiencies in working processes and communicate / collaborate to fix them.
- Maintain a deep awareness of tasks and bugs across projects you are driving
- Provide the line of defense for title publishing and certification, holding the responsibility that no showstopper issues are missed in testing or engineering
- Perceive blockers quickly and efficiently to create a prioritized working plan to resolve them
- Own and maintain the day-to-day production processes for engineering and testing, ensuring that work issues and blockers are actionable and clearly communicated
- Help evaluate project feasibility and run lead on incorporating evaluated project tasks into scheduled cadences of work
- Communicate hardware / software / personnel needs across projects and departments
What You'll Bring:
- Knowledge of agile development and project software tracking tools such as ClickUp, JIRA, Azure DevOps, or industry equivalent.
- Strong sense of personal responsibility
- Great communication skills, particularly with being concise and thorough, factual, diplomatic, and empathetic.
- Excellent written and verbal skills: Listen and communicate with empathy.
- Ability to accept criticism and form it into actionable improvements
- Ability to proactively plan and perceive potential work blockers for others or yourself
- Ability to delegate responsibility and clearly communicate requirements, urgency, and expectations of work
- Capacity to use inclusive behaviors - ensure all voices are heard, be curious, invite input from many perspectives, resolve disagreements, and be brave.
