You love game-making and select projects where quality is the highest priority. You’re well-versed in titles across mobile, console and desktop and understand what makes a game best-in-class. You strive for excellence and are hungry to work on projects that will entertain the world.

This position is responsible for driving the day-to-day production for an experienced team, ensuring a focus on the fun and a quality user experience. You have experience with conflict resolution and prefer transparency.

You’ve developed an instinct for detecting challenges on the horizon and know how to unblock talent. You can assess priorities based on product goals, and pivot when the situation demands. You deeply understand who Kabam’s users are and what they want, and push the team from good to great, and then again from great to greatest, to deliver at the highest quality.

Required qualifications

• Relationships - You cultivate lasting relationships, are a careful communicator, an attentive listener, and sensitive to nuance. You have experience working with remote internal and external sites to coordinate functions between different departments and organizations.
• Ownership - You take responsibility for the success of the project no matter what the hurdles are, regardless of location or even the boundaries of your role. You have excelled despite deadlines and sometimes stressful conditions.
• Project Management - You have a breadth of methodology experience to draw from when crafting an approach that suits the team and the project. Able to adapt to various production tools (JIRA / Smartsheet / Confluence / etc).
• Rigorous thinking - You carefully formulate the positions you take and are good at defending them.

Preferred Qualifications

• Free-to-Play - you’ve led the development of some phases of a successful f2p project
• Ambiguity - you know its value and its peril, and effectively wield it to maximize successful outcomes. You’re comfortable guiding “blank page” creative situations.
• Scenario Planning - Having explored many options, your top recommendations are frequently adopted. You have a rigorous approach to developing hypotheses and candidly discuss all of your presumptions.
• Discipline experience as an engineer, artist or designer

Nice to have qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience
• You’ve managed a project from “blank page” to launch
• Experience with $1m+ P&L, business development, fundraising, pitches
• Entrepreneurial experience
