Jam City is looking for a Producer to join our awesome production team! Our ideal candidate is a jack-of-all-trades type, who isn’t afraid to dive into complex problems and own the outcomes. The ideal candidate is passionate about gaming and has excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). They are an independent self-starter with sound judgment and strong analytical skills.
As Jam City leans into this post-COVID world of hybrid working models, the ideal candidate must be ready to embrace change and be able to quickly adapt to an evolving work-style. At present time we are considering remote applicants, although being located in the general San Diego area is a bonus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the completion of project goals and facilitate communications, organization, and accountability across all departments.
- Lead development and communications of day-to-day tasks and scheduling.
- Identify and communicate roadblocks and bottlenecks that may prevent the team from achieving their goals.
- Motivate and support the team to ensure project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.
- Help make informed decisions in conjunction with team leads on work methods, development pipeline, priorities, and available resources.
- Provide progress updates to senior leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years experience in a production (or equivalent) role.
- Shipped at least one title in a production role.
- Experience working in a post-launch live operations environment in a production capacity.
- Experience orchestrating work across engineering, art, and design disciplines.
- Able to work with team leads and directors to align priorities.
- Strong project management and people skills.
- Identify opportunities, analytical decision making and effective problem solving.
- Detail oriented, quality focused, and player centric.
- Excellent communicator both written and verbal.
- Calm and deliberate within a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment.
NICE TO HAVE
- Art outsourcing experience in either an art lead or production capacity (big plus!)
- Experience mentoring junior producers.
- Good understanding of the mobile/social and market competition.
- Familiarity with JIRA for bug and task tracking.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Possession of a Tardis or other equivalent means of space/time travel.
- Familiarity with Unity.
