As a Producer for Epic's Online Services team you’ll work with a global team of developers and designers to provide studios around the world with the tools and dashboards that operate Epic’s store and services. These services are used across multiple platforms and multiple games as used by Epic teams and studios around the world. We’re looking for an individual who can be the backbone of the production team, excels in organization, has superb communication abilities, and is comfortable managing the schedule of a central shared development group. Focusing on keeping the team tasking accurate and properly detailed. Managing processes and dependencies, scheduling meetings, recording notes, and coordinating information sharing across a variety of distributed teams. The ideal candidate has experience working with web teams and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Own the schedule
- Build and maintain project plans, schedules, and roadmaps considering dependencies across multiple development teams to ensure successful releases of online service features.
- Own the outcome
- Owning the processes and seeking continuous improvement. Running the basics of the project: stand-ups, scheduling meetings, and taking notes. Delivering critical tools to end users and seeing complex features through the complete integration cycles with other teams are the fun parts.
- Transparency
- Provide transparency on project status and tracking risks for stakeholders in order to ensure they are properly informed of any impacts from upcoming releases.
- User Focused
- Track live issues affecting end users and ensure they are being followed up on and resolved.
- Support the team with production tools.
As a producer you should bring superb communication skills. Be able to quickly develop deep knowledge about tools, teams, and technologies. You need to be flexible. Provide leadership and guidance through solid planning and execution of work. Understand how to manage people to help them do their best work, and embrace and embody Epic Values.
Qualifications:
- 3+ Years of experience working in a production role where you've managed cross-functional teams in the creation and delivery of complex online services.
- Ability to create, track, and maintain complex schedules.
- Experience in running teams with agile methodologies such as kanban.
- Deep understanding of software development process, and project management practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communications skills both oral and written.
- Strong preference to applicants with programming or other technical experience.
