Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an experienced producer to manage the creation and support of original content for the World of Warcraft YouTube channel. That includes pitching, developing, and producing segments, documentaries, features, and other content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production and post-production pipelines, in addition to managing budgets, crews, and teams.
Interested candidates should be comfortable working under tight deadlines, have excellent organizational and time management skills, is comfortable taking direction and feedback, is easily adaptable to shifting priorities, and can work with equal effectiveness both solo and as part of a project team.
This position reports to the Senior Producer of Original Content and Live Broadcast within
the Marketing Organization, and works closely with art directors, editors, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Create compelling content.
- Use a high level of production knowledge to bring concepts to life for air on digital and social channels.
- Coordinate with producers, post-production staff, production management, and stakeholders from other teams.
- Research, plan, produce, shoot, write, and supervise edits.
- Establish structure and process that will empower people to produce their best work.
- Collaborate with leaders to drive innovative ideas that support our growth goals
- Take ownership for broadcast projects, managing them successfully through production from beginning to end.
- Source, vet, and manage relationships with external vendors as appropriate in support of content development.
- Manage budget planning as well as execution of budget.
- Take responsibility for finding appropriate solutions to problems and challenges as they arise within the group.
- Provide clear direction to support teams and deliver regular updates to stakeholders.

Requirements
- Must have 7+ years of equivalent production experience.
- Must have strong knowledge of television and digital content, including production dynamics, and working knowledge of the equipment and technologies therein (Adobe Creative suite, post-production technologies).
- Can multi-task in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience in managing large quantities of assets and complex production schedules.
- Ability to guide projects from inception through post with minimal preparation time.
- Ability to liaise with talent.
- Be flexible in your work schedule (Events/Broadcast on nights and weekends).
- Able to work well with others in a diverse and fast-paced environment.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $24.03 - $44.47 Hourly. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed
