The Overwatch team is looking for a Producer to join our team and help drive our experiences into the hands of millions of players on First Party Console Platforms. You will work directly with engineers and team leads to build and implement a roadmap focused on making sure we provide a first-class experience to our players no matter where they decide to play.

Covid-19 Hiring Update: We’ve transitioned to a work-from-home model, and we’re continuing to interview and hire during this time. This role is expected to begin as a remote position. We understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore possible interim options.
Responsibilities
- Build, communicate, and drive strategies for features and requirements related to non-PC platforms.
- Be the development team’s primary point of contact for discussions around submissions, timelines, features, and feasibility of console related features and requirements.
- Be on the forefront of communication with our internal and external partners around technical details, platform certification, discovered issues, and support requests.
- Work closely with collaborators and partner teams within Blizzard to ensure that our schedule aligns with all dependencies.
- Partner with production leadership to develop feature milestones and work plans.
- Help define and communicate timelines to the team in an effective manner and drive goals to completion.
- Facilitate and manage healthy communication with all partners.
- Champion the team and its members. Foster a culture of open collaboration and trust.
- Identify, communicate, and work to resolve challenges that may prevent our team or our partners from achieving goals on time.
- Communicate frequently with the production team on status, risks, and opportunities.
- Define and refine processes and workflows throughout the team.
- Contribute to a positive and constructive work environment.
Requirements
- 3-5 years relevant work experience in development for first party game consoles, e.g., Microsoft Xbox, Sony PlayStation, or Nintendo.
- Shipped at least one game or multiple large live updates to a game or game service in a technical or project management capacity.
- Familiarity with first party console requirements checklists: e.g., TRCs, XRs, and Lotcheck and ability to communicate and negotiate with first party console representatives.
- A demonstrable ability to work as a producer or project manager on a game team.
- A demonstrable ability to build, supervise, and maintain team schedules, and to drive projects to completion in a timely manner.
- Skill to communicate effectively, correctly, and succinctly with key collaborators and learn and adopt new tools and technologies.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to drive towards clarity, strong collaborative problem solver.
- Knowledge of software development and project management, including agile frameworks.
Pluses
- Prior experience in a technical role.
- Expertise with Jira, Confluence, or comparable tools.
- BA / BS (or equivalent).
