Producer (Mobile Games)

This is a fully remote position for eligible candidates currently based in most of the United States and Canada
PerBlue is looking for a talented and experienced Producer to join our team. We’re a growing independent studio whose free-to-play midcore mobile games have been played by millions people around the world, including our award-winning Disney Heroes: Battle Mode game.
Our cross-functional and collaborative team has experience across the videogame industry. Headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, we also work remotely throughout the United States and Canada for an unmatched quality of life and work.
In this position, you'll help deliver amazing experiences to our mobile game fans around the world! You’ll manage the daily operations of one of our mobile game teams. Report to a Product Owner, you'll focus on tactical project management.The PO and Producer are the strategy/implementation braintrust of our games.
What you'll do
With a strong understanding of agile development theory and practice, you'll be in charge of all of the projects leading to a game that's built on-time and on-budget. You’re self-motivated, focused on results, and have the ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment. You enjoy working in a collaborative space and are good at staying organized and on task.
- Manage the day-to-day development process for a free-to-play RPG or strategy game
- Work with a cross-functional team to deliver sprints on time, on budget, and at a high-quality bar
- Quickly identify when development issues arise, diagnose their cause, and implement solutions to keep the product and team on track
- Make valuable individual contributions to the product (via design, QA, UX, analysis, etc.)
- Recommend and implement new processes and create efficiencies to improve timely or on-budget delivery
- Ensure all necessary project documentation is complete and up-to-date
- Establish and maintain a productive and communicative working environment
- Active participation in PerBlue’s efforts to be a welcoming, inclusive and diverse workplace
Who you are
- 2+ years in a game producer role (free-to-play mobile preferred but not required)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal)
- Excellent knowledge of agile methodology
- Positive attitude, calm and deliberate within a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment
Other attributes to highlight in your application
- Expertise in a specific product area (e.g. design, analytics, UX, writing, QA, dev, etc.)
- Experience with mid-core game genres and mechanics (esp. RPG & strategy)
- Project Management training and certification
