Producer III - Player Platform, SDK Team

As Producers at Riot, we lead passionate teams to create products and experiences that achieve maximum player value. We guide development, smash through obstacles and push projects across the finish line while ensuring that our products and teams are sustainable.

The Developer Platform initiative makes utilizing the Riot Platform intuitive so that developers can focus on making great games, entertainment and esports experiences. The SDK team provide the APIs that marshal Riot’s capabilities and deliver them to the player’s device for all Riot games and products.

As a Producer III on the SDK team, you will partner with the SDK Product, and Engineering Leads. You will manage the day-to-day work and be the custodian of delivery processes internal to the team and ensure that collaboration with external teams runs smoothly. You will oversee delivery, work systems, maintaining execution, and providing leadership with visibility on complex deliverables. You will ensure the team works collaboratively, at a sustainable pace and continuously improves.

You will report to the Developer Platform Technical Program Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Lead collaboration on projects across multi-team development of platform capabilities and features.
• Work with engineering and quality to determine product and technical delivery requirements, key architecture, and interfaces to access this new functionality.
• Manage multiple essential customer and partner relationships, including game development teams, external partners, and other internal Riot teams.
• Ensure that the capabilities of the product continue to operate reliably, meet operational standards, and evolve to meet the changing needs of our game teams.
• Assess the team's health and composition to ensure that the team is set up for success.
• Improve work systems, team performance metrics, and goal setting.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading technical projects on medium to large teams using a variety of methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, and waterfall. Applying Agile development processes and optimizing teams for sustainability and performance.
• Experience working directly with engineering teams to ensure the products they build meet the needs of the partners and customers that use them.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with developer facing products or teams building software for backend services.
• PMP certification, Scrum Master Certification
