At Wizards of the Coast, we connect people around the world through play and imagination. From our genre defining games like Magic: The Gathering® and Dungeons & Dragons® to our growing multiverse, we continue to innovate and build new ways to foster friendship and connection. That’s where you come in!

The Magic TCG Studio is responsible for building the entire Magic TCG experience -- the card, game, and product design; the worldbuilding and art; the editing and packaging; and much of the production and logistics -- all developed here within the studio.

Our Game Design team touches cards from beginning to end to ensure we’re making successful products, play formats, and experiences. This includes assisting with card design, mechanic design, format design, product exploration, and more.

As the Magic Rules Manager, you'll draw on your Magic expertise and ability to envision everything the game was, is, and can be. The Magic rules are the backbone of the game. You will be the studio’s leading Magic rules specialist, playing a meaningful role as our design teams bring their visions to fruition.

Part technical writer, part game designer, and part advisor, this role is unlike any other job. You understand the intricate underpinnings of the rules and use that understanding to guide its expansion. Collaboration is paramount. Players delight in reading new Magic cards, and you have a key voice in what words await them!
