Job Description
We are seeking a Producer to oversee all aspects of developing new creative content for the Magic World platform. As Game Development Producer you will be responsible for working with Department Leads and developers to establish timelines and coordinate the workload required to achieve our project goals and milestones. You will oversee creative (art and design), technical development (game programming) and quality assurance (testing) of the Magic Leap experience. You will work closely with creative and technical team members to design and develop experiences that prove out the potential of Magic Leap’s groundbreaking technology and pave the way for future flagship products. You will track and manage budget, schedule and all logistics for development, production and publishing to ML World. This job is about bringing imagination to reality.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize tasks, lead sprint plans, and maintain production calendar to ensure timely execution of creative content (experience/game)
- Determine a set of processes and key performance indicators that will assess production status of the c reative content (experience/game) at various stages of development
- Set scope of work and manage budget
- Motivate and support your team(s) to ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved
- Help make informed decisions in conjunction with team leads on work methods, development pipeline, priorities, and available people
Qualifications
- Familiarity with agile/scrum development methodologies
- Experience in developing for VR/AR/MR
- Experience in Unity
- JIRA and Confluence experience
- Extremely organized, able to track and manage multiple streams of work
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to help facilitate work within a group
- Experience managing budgets across various projects
- Interest in technology and curiosity around the future of computing and experience platforms
- Team player capable of working well with others and leveraging other people’s skills and strengths to deliver a stellar product
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5-8 Years experience working in Production
- Interest in immersive technology, the next generation of spatial computing and helping build the Magic Leap Brand
