Position Summary:

What does success in this role look like? First off, it means you will be excited by the opportunity to be a founding member of a new location of MobilityWare. Success means playing a key role on a growing team that will be tackling new game titles in a start-up like environment. You will be responsible for guiding the team through scrum on a day-to-day basis, generating tasks in JIRA, running stand-up, sprint and milestone meetings, handling game submissions and managing the QA relationship. To do this will require a focus on speed and agility, while quality will remain the number one goal.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Scrum Master for a cross-functional development team
• Create a positive and cooperative team culture
• Empower team members by clearing obstacles that impede them
• Maintain and manage JIRA
• Directly make new game submissions to the App Stores
• Manage Triages and the QA relationship with the development team
• Be an industry expert on mobile game project management
• Be a team player who listens to, encourages, and supports others

Qualifications for Position:

• 2+ years of professional experience working as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or Project Coordinator
• Demonstrable experience utilizing bug tracking software & tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Expert ability to track and organize
• Detail-oriented and documentation-focused
• Scrum certified or equivalent experience effectively using Scrum in a professional environment
• Passion for casual mobile games and game players
• Growth mindset that embraces continuous learning
• Positive attitude with a desire to be a driving force of a friendly, upbeat, and supportive development environment
• Excitement for the opportunities and challenges of working on a new and forming team

Additional information :

Please Note: In 2022 this position will be in office in Utah twice a month, but otherwise remote. In 2023, if Covid-19 safety allows for it, we will be in office in Utah.
