Process Technician

Job Description:

The Process Technician will be responsible for evaluating existing processes and developing new production process to
improve sustainability and develop best practices to bring the product into high volume manufacturing. Candidates
must be highly innovative and enjoy working in a dynamic and creative environment within a multi-disciplinary
team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative solutions
• Interact with vendors on equipment installation and qualification
• Initiate process development with disciplined data collection and interpretation
• Implement and review SPC charts
• Assist Engineers with design of experiments
• Research and purchase new equipment
• Advise on corrective action plans
• Document and report results of engineering efforts
• Participate in yield improvement team efforts
• Write and maintain work instructions related to manufacturing processes
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards
• Hands-on mentality working in a team orientated environment
• Work as needed to meet organizational production milestones
• Knowledge of hi-tech manufacturing techniques
• Ability to learn and train others on process/metrology equipment
• Extensively collect and document process related data/procedures

Qualifications:

• Methodological troubleshooting skills in a fast paced, hi-tech environment with a focus on data collection integrity and reporting
• Able to work >50% of shift in a class 100 clean room
• Communicate and present results to operations and engineering teams
• CAD experience a plus
• Familiar with statistical software such as JMP or Matlab
• Programming language such as C# or Python a plus

• BA/BS preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
