In order to expand our team in Freiburg (Germany), we are now looking for a talented
Principal Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities:
- Lead the development of test automation strategies across our software platform
- Act as a bridge between the Technical Director, QA, and other engineering disciplines
- Implement strategies via developing, coding, and executing test cases using automated tools
- Evaluate functional and non-functional requirements for testability and test cases and use cases for suitability for automation
- Participate in the recruitment of test automation engineers
- Identify and implement appropriate test metrics to provide test reports for other departments
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5 - 6 years' experience working in QA Test Automation / Software Development in Test (SDET)
- Practical experience in analysing, designing, and developing solutions to complex problems
- Experience with coding in C# and using scripting languages such as JavaScript to execute test frameworks
- Experienced in test automation for both application and server-side services (REST API ideally)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English
