Summary

What You'll Do

• Reviewing the current technical standards, architectural framework and future roadmap. Defining or proposing improvements to them as required.
• Taking complete ownership of assigned features, starting from inception, design, development, test and maintenance.
• Working closely with management in assessing risks, planning of team projects and contingency management.
• Preparing proposals and presentations for business and technical audiences.
• Carrying out technical assessments on requested features and identify scope of work/dependencies for development requirements.
• Owning critical parts of the system, designing and delivering quality stable solutions.
• Developing fast, maintainable, quality code.
• Performing software testing, verification and validation.
• Conducting design reviews and contribute in improving code quality processes.
• Providing technical guidance and support to internal team(s) and to the stakeholders.
• Becoming a troubleshooter of last resort and owning the debugging of the most complex code to identify critical software issues.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or its equivalent is preferred
• 10+ years of experience in C++ and familiarity with C# development is required.
• Expert in object-oriented design and programming.
• Experience of debugging and solving complex problems.
• Expert in software engineering best practices, including design patterns and UML.
• Adept with memory management and multi-threading processes.
• A passion for solving complicated problems and learning new skills.
• Demonstrates an extremely high level of attention to detail.
• Possess a high level of personal and professional accountability and be able to enlist the cooperation of peer groups involved in common
• business goals and objectives.
• Have the ability to meet changing demands and to adapt to frequently changing priorities.
• Demonstrates excellent oral and written, communication, and customer service skills.
• Be able to work independently and also be team oriented.
