What We Need:
2K is looking for a principal Red Team Specialist to join our growing security team!
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in offensive security and vulnerability management. They are professionals in emulating attackers' methodologies and evaluating the severity of vulnerabilities found by their team as well as those provided from traditional channels. From conducting a phishing campaign to setting up C2 infrastructure they will help 2k understand, emulate, and develop protection strategies for a variety of different cyber attacks.
In addition to being exceptionally technical, the candidate should have good communication and presentation skills. Finding vulnerabilities is only part of the role, equally important is communicating those vulnerabilities in an effective and understandable way to all audiences, from engineers to executives.
The candidate is also a self-starter who's capable to work independently and prioritize their team’s work. They should be both a manager and a mentor for the members of the offensive security team!
What You Will Do:
- Lead the 2K offensive security and vulnerability management programs
- Develop and conduct Red Team/offensive security initiatives and report on results to technical and executive teams
- Conduct penetration tests of web, mobile, network, and infrastructure systems and deliver impactful reports of real world vulnerabilities
- Find, document, and drive remediation of vulnerabilities in 2k games and infrastructure
- Lead and provide guidance to bug bounty programs
- Act as a mentor for the entire security team in the areas of offensive security
- Provide experienced guidance to the Security Engineering and Operations teams around current adversaries tools, techniques and procedures
Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:
- Profound understanding of current attack tools and techniques and be able to recreate them against 2k’s infrastructure and services
- Offensive security experience within a modern global cloud infrastructure
- Ability to distinguish and articulate the difference between “critical” security vulnerabilities in the news and truly critical vulnerabilities for 2k’s infrastructure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoys both learning about groundbreaking exploits and guiding others about them
- Willingness to travel as needed to conduct red team exercises or post exercise training with relevant teams
- Minimum of 12-15 years' experience in offensive security related roles
