What We Need:
We’re looking for a Principal Producer with the operational mindset and problem-solving skills to help our studio get to the next level of efficiency and achievement. We need someone who is passionate about identifying gaps in team operation and resolving them at a process level that’s sustainable and healthy, with a mandate to deliver top quality player experiences on time. This role must foster the productive, collaborative and positive work environment that allows the team to do their best work.
What You Will Do:
- Work with product management, game design, art, engineering, marketing, live ops, QA and other team leads to develop, build consensus, and execute on realistic milestones and roadmaps
- Working with leads, keep the development pipeline full, prioritized and known to the full team
- Identify current and potential conflicts in workload or priority, or workflow blockers, and partner with appropriate managers and team members to resolve
- Maintain project tracking and backlog, working with the product managers and leads to define and scope future content
- Run standups, sprint planning, and reviews
- Proactively identify and communicate risks to stakeholders
- Facilitate build reviews and prioritize feedback from stakeholders, both internal and external
- Help to ensure that delivered game meets project goals, market needs, and stakeholder expectations
- Work with QA to ensure overall product quality
- Coordinate with support teams, such as marketing, player services, research, and release management
- Optimize development, scrum and communication processes and ensure that team members and leaders are following them
- Manage development administrative tasks and processes as needed
About You:
- 8+ years of game production experience across multiple game titles, including mobile and online products
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Senior Producer role in free-to-play mobile games, improving process and team dynamics, as well as shipping successful product
- Team player with a collaborative work style, interested in close partnership with design, production, and development
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional teams to efficiently deliver high-quality features and experiences on time and on budget. Experience with distributed multi-lingual teams is a plus
- Passion for inspiring and guiding teams and individuals to do their best work
- Demonstrable experience in handling the trade-offs between team needs and business requirements
- Excellent communication, facilitation and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of the various flavors and techniques of game development management, including Kanban, Waterfall, and a variety of Agile exposures, enough to understand their various strengths and weaknesses
- Proficiency in using project planning and communication tools, including Atlassian suite (JIRA, Trello and Confluence, Slack)
- Experience working with development tools and services (AppCenter, AppStore Connect, TestFlight, etc.)
- Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Office for both team communication and resource modeling
