The Role
We seek a Principal Graphics Engineer for the Game Services team. This team's mission is to magnify the engineering teams across all studios, bringing specialized knowledge and common solutions so they can focus on making the game fun. In this role you will help our game studios build incredible experiences by contributing to shared ProbablyMonsters technologies. It requires the ability to empathize with our studio teams while simultaneously pushing to write high quality, scalable, easy-tomaintain, reusable, and centralized software.

What You Will Do
- Act as a subject matter expert of graphics for the team
- Partner with studio teams to establish a vision for the rendering architecture that meets player experience goals, identifies technical risks, and mitigation strategies
- Work with studio discipline leads to identify focus areas to provide the best solution for each development phase
- Collaborate with creative and engineering disciplines to evaluate, design, and implement robust, scalable, and performant solutions
- Architect shared solutions that accelerate the development of all studio projects
- Provide feedback on our technologies to improve them for future games
Minimum Qualifications
- Professional experience in the game industry as a software engineer, with deep practical knowledge in game engine and systems development using C/C++
- Experience with graphics programming in games
- Professional experience leading engineering projects from inception to delivery
- Contributed to at least 1 shipped game title
- Capacity to collaborate with other disciplines to break down complex problems into potential solutions, goals, and risks, to get to solid direction and resolution
Bonus Points
- Experience working on a central technology team
- Experience working with Unreal Engine 4 or 5
- Experience working on a cross-platform game title
- Experience shipping on multiple platforms (PC, Consoles, etc.)
