The Studio 54 Principal Game Designer is involved in the development of new game concepts and is responsible for the creation and verification of all mathematical calculations for those games. May lead or direct the work of other Designers.What You'll Do
- Participates in the creation and review of original mathematical models, new game themes, and concepts for electronic gaming slot machines.
- Reviews game software during development to verify gameplay and that all game elements are of high quality.
- Works with other designers in conducting and verifying mathematical calculations.
- Creates and maintains all documents and files required for game development and submission to external regulators.
- All other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, in a specific area or related field
- Requires a minimum of six years of experience in game design and development
Key Competencies:
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts in gaming
- Proven ability to create game concepts and math models
- Key contributor to the design and development of successful core and entertainment products
- Ability to work in teams, with managers and able to collaborate with creative and technical disciplines
- Thinks big and adapts to change in a creative environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-driven, responsible, and detail-oriented person who can multi-task and deliver high-quality work on time
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Visual Studio
