Job Description
- Demonstrate adaptability in creating new game mechanics, improving franchises, and adapting systems to new platforms.
- Analyze player feedback, track KPIs, identify game flaws, and propose solutions.
- Assess and enhance the structure and balance of time-limited events; propose new templates.
- Research global market trends and successful games.
- Creating design documents that define the blueprint for the entire game, from the gameplay, and the level design,… to the onboarding experience and the interface;
- Integrate successful game features and develop efficient research/testing methods.
- Design balanced game mechanics and rules.
- Collaborate with the Game Manager, Product Manager, and GED on the product roadmap.
- Ensure game features align with the game vision.
- Mentor and support other Game Designers; drive innovation and maintain high performance.
- Assist in game design matters and participate in talent recruitment as needed.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a Game Designer role with at least 2 shipped games (in any platform); and previous experience with a highly successful casual game title is a big plus.
- Strong understanding of the market trend and target audience in gaming platforms.
- LiveOps design.
- Solid Game Designer, with proven expertise/knowledge of game mechanics, game balancing, UI/UX, successful game business models, monetization psychology and strategy, game reward systems, and retention strategy;
- Data-Driven Decision Making, Game KPI Analysis.
- Experience and interest in team-leadership and coaching.
- Strong pitching and presentation skills;
- And above all, motivation and a passion for video games!
