What you’ll do
Epic Games is looking for a Lead Compensation Analyst who specializes in data analytics and compensation design. In this role you will be responsible for establishing standards for compensation analytics, supporting the design, development and continued evaluation of compensation programs and supporting a variety of initiatives to continue to build a world class infrastructure.
In this role, you will
- Lead the compensation analytics function for a global compensation system including both base salary and incentive plans. Includes partnering with Data Analytics, Workday, HR and Recruiting teams to develop compelling dashboards, predictive analytics and a strategy to ensure our compensation program is tracking to team goals
- Support Compensation Initiatives with the ability to take on complete projects or segments of broad based and executive compensation design and analysis. Projects could include regular market analysis, structure evaluation and design, incentive plan design, measuring ROI and program effectiveness of compensation programs, building compensation systems and dashboards, and development of training/coaching materials for HR Partners, Recruiters and Leaders
- Support the development and implementation of Epic's internal compensation data architecture by partnering with Workday team to help configure the HRIS system in a way that supports effective job/level management, compensation planning processes, and compensation data reporting and analytics
- Take on major projects as needed within the broader People function to continue to build a world class infrastructure - projects could include total global remuneration strategy development, strategic workforce planning, program effectiveness and streamlining
What we’re looking for
- Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing advanced analytic capabilities in the Compensation space
- Direct experience in design, development and implementation of compensation programs (base and incentives)
- Experience in client consulting with the ability to assess leaders business need and translate to an HR analysis
- Ability to educate and facilitate effective decision making across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets experience
- Compensation systems design and development experience
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive data and business information and initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to establish a trusted/strategic adviser relationship with all departments
- Demonstrated the ability to learn and apply new technologies to solve business challenges is required
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executives
- Experienced in delivering department and business-focused solutions based on the best interest and needs of the business
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, proven ability to prioritize and deliver results on time. Proven ability to manage multiple projects while remaining focused on detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
