About the Role

Twitch is looking for a Policy Manager for our Community and Product Policy team to help us build standards for what content is permitted and what content is monetizable on Twitch. You will report to the Director of Global Policy for Trust and Safety.

You will tackle difficult content policy questions, balancing the desire to allow creators to express themselves on Twitch with the need to ensure brand safe content. You will work across multiple internal partners conducting extensive research and writing.

You Will:

• Research, implement and communicate content and monetization policies to affect Twitch creators globally
• Partner with internal, stakeholders across varying teams to ensure balancing our needs with Twitch values and desire to support creators
• Partner with internal product teams to provide feedback on new product features and to ensure monetization policies and product strategy are aligned
• Research and draft policy updates to prepare for upcoming safety-related regulations globally
• Contribute to investigations of high-profile and gray area content policy and brand safety issues

You Have:

• 4+ years of experience in either policy, policy communications, legal, or brand safety
• An understanding of online safety or brand safety trends
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills -- As part of your application, you will complete a written policy proposal exercise
• Experience managing company partners across different areas, and engaging with external individuals/entities on behalf of an organization
• Experience handling complicated escalations and communicating with senior leadership
• Demonstrated experience creating solutions in demanding environments
