- Job Title: Pokémon Center Merchandise Approvals (2D)
- Job Summary: Prepares technical specifications and works with various teams to ensure that the specifications, measurements, brand fit, and construction of merchandise are in keeping with the product specifications and designs. Ensures product integrity and interpretation with respect to design, manufacturing, quality and cost.

What you’ll do
- Review 2D products such as apparel, pins, and wall art against the Pokémon brand standard.
- Guide internal and external stakeholders regarding how they can best represent the Pokémon brand through graphics and products.
- Create artwork usage and approval guides.
- Work with Consumer Product Approvals team to organize and distribute assets from TPC (headquarter in Japan).
- Team with Project Managers to mitigate potential schedule risks and escalate to manager with recommended solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to elevate designs within specific parameters.
- Communicate daily with internal and/or external partners via video calls, project management software, approvals software, and email.
- Maintain an accurate record of approvals for each item from concept to approval.
- Assist in the development of process documents, tools, and training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Organize and archive product samples.
- Perform other administrative duties consistent with position as assigned by manager.
What you’ll bring
- Three (3) to four (4) years of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.
- Understand concept development.
- Can generate a conceptual design effectively.
- Can product design documentation with skill.
- Skilled in product design
- Understands product planning and lifecycle.
- Understands product strategy and how it influences design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Base salary range: For this role, new hires generally start between $82,000.00 - $96,900.00. The full range is $82,000.00 - $122,000.00. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
