Role Overview:

The role of the PlayStation Network Accounts Assistant is to provide support and backfill for the Sony Interactive Entertainment Network Europe (SIENE) team as they move away from their traditional system into a new SAP environment.

Working within the PlayStation Network team, we are looking for a self-motivated individual with a strong transaction background who has experience in transactional financial accounting especially concentrating on the balance sheet.

What you’ll be doing:

• Reconciliation of balance sheet GL’s
• Clearing open item managed accounts
• Reconciliation of the systems postings to SAP to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure all relevant data is moved across to the new SAP environment.
• Reconciliation of integrator/payment provider accounts
• Relationship management of integrator receivables
• Process improvement, for PSN accounting systems
• Ad hoc projects.
• Month end processes and assistance to PSN team
• Working with key external PSN stakeholders both financial and non-financial.

What we’re looking for:

• Digital/Online experience (favourable)
• Strong transactional accounting experience.
• Organised self-starter, with drive and commitment, able to work with little supervision but always in communication with the team.
• Efficient worker who is able to maintain high attention to details.
• Data preparation including advanced MS Excel
• SAP (GPW) and ERP systems experience (favourable).
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent social skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels in Finance.
