Physical Security Team Lead

Job Description

About the role

As part of the Security & Risk Management department, your core responsibilities will be to supervise a security team (2 people) responsible of studios physical security operation, projects and assessment and improve the security of Ubisoft’s assets, data and infrastructure in your designated region.

In addition you will manage physical security operations of the Chengdu studio.

This is a key role that ties together the work of many teams with the goal of reducing potential impacts on the business.

What you will do

Site Operations :

1. Ensure that physical security processes and requests are efficiently carried out:
   • Manage access cards and accesses;
   • Oversee visits by consultants and subcontractors;
   • Respond to alarm system operations;
   • Ensure safety of the facilities by performing regular verifications.
   • Supervise daily tasks of security guards and vigilance officers
2. Provide requirements and participate in physical security implementations and perform follow-ups to ensure integrations within the expected criteria
3. Provide expertise during major physical incidents and follow up on physical incidents to ensure proper corrective actions;
4. Coordinate an implement proper corrective actions to be applied following physical security assessments;
5. Participate in implementing and ensuring physical security during internal and external events. Participate in user safety awareness activities

Team Lead :

1. Supervise and assess team members reporting to her/him and ensure the vision and strategy of the group regarding the scope of her/his team is followed
2. Link with management of her/his designated region to align security with business priorities and adjust the team activities accordingly;
3. Ensure assistance to the other teams of the department for any effort, including but not limited to risk analysis, vulnerability assessments, incident response, directives/guidelines/standards redaction, and implementation;
4. Define policies, standards and processes pertaining to her/his field of expertise and the scope of her/his team;
5. Drive the implementation of projects to enhance the security of production and internal services activities;
6. On a day-to-day basis, answer questions regarding security according to her/his expertise and support awareness activities;
7. Carry out security projects, assessments and all other related tasks to which he/she is assigned;

Qualifications

What you should be equipped with

Relevant Experience

• Having significant experience in project management related to physical security;
• Experience in conducting audits.
• Knowledge in access control and surveillance systems;
• Knowledge in IT technologies pertaining to the physical security field;
• Knowledge in fire safety legislations / building code
• Degree, certification or training in security (ASIS PSP, etc.) is an asset

• Ability to interact with representatives from different backgrounds, to show
• pedagogy and communicate technical or safety concepts to all types of stakeholders;
• Ability to write clear and concise documentation;
• Proactive, autonomous and autodidact;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Bilingualism (Chinese-English, spoken and written) is required
